Why You Should Not Buy The Sondors Electric Bike

Are you kidding me? You should absolutely buy this bike (if you have the money). No other ebike has been able to come close to this price point and deliver a product that looks as good as the Sondors Electronic Bike (formally called the Storm Electronic Bike). The Indiegogo campaign has generated quite the buzz, raising about 3.4 million dollars – that’s with an original $75,000 goal – I think they’re good! The bike has caught the attention of the likes of  Yahoo, Business Insider and TechCrunch. The low price point seems to be appealing to those new to the ebike community, including myself. I’ve had my eye on these for a while, but I haven’t been able to convince myself to pay out the $1,500 + that most of these bike start at. This is my chance to get in for a decent price and I couldn’t be happier. Side note: I wasn’t even sure I wanted to spend $599 on a bike originally. So I ended up flipping a coin….I called heads… and heads it was. Take my money! If you haven’t yet, check out the video below from yesterday’s Demo Day in Santa Monica, CA posted by ElectricBikeReview.com. This is the closest look we […]

Got a job? Buy a car!

I was scrolling through Instagram the other day and I noticed something that I probably wouldn’t have a few years ago — and I see it all of the time. It’s actually a pretty scary reality and it’s very reflective of our greedy culture in America. I am currently on a quest to get out of debt. This has forced me to look at things differently. I’m noticing that most of us view money through a very skewed perspective. I see debt as an invisible weight, but once you realize it’s there, you quickly become motivated to rid yourself of the chains. Like many others, I have followed the teachings of Dave Ramsey. As Dave always says: “If you live like no one else, later you can live like no one else.” So here’s what I saw on Instagram: A friend had recently graduated from college and gotten their first REAL job. As an obvious next step, the individual purchased a brand new vehicle. The photo was flooded with comments like “Congrats” , “You deserve it!!” , “OMG it’s so pretty”, etc. So what’s the big deal?? The big deal is this: we live in a culture where it is normal for a young […]

CaleMills.com

Just finished working on my buddy, Cale Mills’ website. It turned out to be pretty cool! Cale is a very talented musician, song writer and performer. For the last few years, he’s been playing with another one of our friends, who also happened to win season 8 of American Idol – Kris Allen. So check out Cale’s site to follow his blog, see some photos from his travels and listen to some of his demos. He’ll be big in the industry some day, so go ahead and be that guy/girl that can say “Oh yeah, I remember looking at his website a few years ago.”
